Went for a quick vacation, had stayed here years ago, so came again. Yes the rooms are tiny, but you are in an old place! They are rightly proud of their wonderful linens! Beautiful! Even for the tiny size of the room, the tv seemed too small, though.
courtyard is lovely and quiet. nice when there are other guests to visit with. Easy walking distance to everything in old Bisbee. Nice that they have parking right there, that can be tough in Bisbee.
very homey and friendly, Linda was not there when we arrived to check in, but her cell phone posted on the door. Would not find that in a big city. very personal attention. reasonable price, and we were told on the ghost tour this was not one of the haunted places. that could be a plus, or minus, depends on your opinion!

The Jonquil is a small, beautifully maintained and independent motel just minutes walk from the centre of Bisbee. I have just stayed there for three wonderfully relaxing nights. The rooms, as stated by others are small as you would expect from a property of this age, but they are very comfortable. The linens are of high quality and the bed is very comfortable. The best thing of all is the welcome you can expect from Linda and Laura, who look after the place on behalf of the owners. Add to this the parking, the courtyard, the garden an the prices and you have the perfect spot in Bisbee.

We have stayed at this small motel 2 times. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, reflecting the interesting character of Bisbee. There is a lovely patio where we sip wine and read. It is within walking distance of town and close to the market to buy fresh baked goods, wines, cheeses, and coffee.

Room Tip: Check the website. Some rooms offer more amenities than others.

After my 5th stay at the little Jonquil Motel, I felt compelled to share my love for this old, clean, well kept, and relaxing property. This is a wonderful "gem" on the upper end of the main drag, Tombstone Canyon, in Bisbee. The place is old, that's OK, just relax and enjoy the great beds, linens, towels, and quiet, this property has to offer. Call and speak to the innkeeper if you have questions about the rooms and you will feel the since of the very personal and "non-corporate" feeling of the Jonquil. Oh, go on line and learn about the mural on the entire South end of the building. I'm going back next year!

We stayed 4 nights at the Jonquil Motel. The Jonquil was affordable, clean, quiet, a comfortable bed, and close to everything. Linda, the manager, was friendly and helpful in every way. We definitly would stay here again.

Room Tip: This is a very small motel. Every room is ground level and opens up to a little courtyard for smoking since all rooms are non-smoking. There is plenty of parking.
