“Waling Distance”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Pretty basic room. The room was really not too exciting. It was clean with all tile restroom. The nice part is that it was walking distance to locations in Bisbee. Circle K very close by. We were welcomed very nicely at check in. Excellent beds.

This was a sweet little room (#4) with all the basics. Clean, comfy bed, decent bathroom, free wifi, a/c and ceiling fan. One suggestion, though? Not that it was super expensive, but at $99 a night pre-taxes, etc, it would be great to include personal shampoos and soap, instead of the large White Rain shampoo, half empty, (no conditioner) and no moisturizer or soap. The soap was a half empty bottle of body wash (nothing on the sink). It's these little things that mean a lot when you're traveling, and don't bring your own since all hotels now provide the basics.

Other than that, the location was good (out of the main hubub of town, but close enough to be convenient) and the staff were kind. It's not luxurious, but its comfy. I'd stay again, but would be more prepared. Thanks, Jonquil!

Room Tip: Dont stay right next to the road side.. ask which room is quieter.

To celebrate our anniversary, we stayed in this quaint hotel with the most comfortable pillow-top mattresses and luxury linens, room was immaculet, comfortable, conveniently located. The backyard was a delight with nut trees, flowering bushes, grass and plenty of places to sit.

Room Tip: bring your own cfe pot or walk a short distance to Circle K!

Cute and cozy. Room was a bit small, no chair to sit on, but the beds and linens were WONDERFUL. Very clean, very quiet. We were there in early April and it was more than chilly. It was cold. No heat, but they did place an all purpose fan in our room that kicked out heat a little bit and the beds and linens were so wonderful we didn't feel the cold when sleeping, but the shower (old and should be replaced) was a bit chilly in the morning. Considering this is in the old mining town of Bisbee, it was a good experience. Would stay there again, but not for more than one night as all you can do in your cozy room is sleep, can't sit up and watch TV or have anyone else in the room with you.

This place is excellent value. We basically got a suite for less than a normal room would cost elsewhere (room 7). They have a big back garden to boot. It's within walking distance to all of Old Bisbee. Clean, great beds and charm. Recommended.

The Jonquil is a small unique property located on what used to be the main highway thru town. Today it is filled with historic homes and there is a wonderful restaurant for any meal within walking distance. The rooms are clean and have wonderful linens and beds. A quiet place to stay just outside of the main town center. The decoration of the rooms is suberb. Each is diffeerent and guests often share a peek at thier room with others. Owners are very helpful too.
