We had pastrami sandwiches here for lunch, sitting on the front porch. Tasty and good portion size. Friendly service.

Why is this place still listed as Angela's? This is now known as the Copper Queen Cafe and is the hotel owners latest attempt at running a restaurant. Open for some reason on Monday, and then Thursday through Saturday from 5 until 8 or 9, unless they don't feel like it, then they're closed. Decor? Not so much... It's a shame what they've done to this restaurant - many years ago I used to take my family there and it was good food and fine dining.

There are a couple of good waiters there now. Tristan with his big smile and good attitude and Gareth with his friendly demeanor, sense of humor and professionalism. Either one will make your dining experience pleasant, even if the food isn't exactly up to par.

Fear not, there is some good food to be had here but please don't stray from these recommendations or you may be sorry. If you don't eat meat - don't eat here. The salads are unimaginative and not worth the money. The prime rib is delicious and usually a good size cut - don't bother upgrading to a baked potato, they're awful and small. The french dip is very good too, why? Because it's made from the prime rib. They've finally switched from beef to pork ribs and they are usually pretty good too. The burgers and the rueben are the best in town. Finally, their chicken mango chutney is unique and delicious!

Why don't the owners advertise what they're best at? Who knows...

The menu has standard "American" food, mostly meat-based - so if you're vegetarian or vegan, there's almost nothing on the menu to eat. The prices aren't too bad. Our waiter was terrific. The continental breakfast offerings were meager. If you're not picky about your food, this place is acceptable. If you are picky, the food is uninspired. I never saw many people dining here during my stay at the Copper Queen. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

We had visited Angela's at the Copper Queen 10 years ago when it was a fancy fine dining restaurant. It has since gone more casual with lunch type items on the menu except for a few days a week when they offer Prime Rib. We ordered the Prime Rib and it was great! They also have Bisbee Olive Oil Company products on the table for the salad that are delicious.

This review is based on the sandwiches of Angela's I will be having the spaghetti and ribs tonight. most of the recipes are from southern style cooking having come from VA I find this to be right up my ally.
Pulled pork sandwich- was large and tasty sweet but just enough heat to tame the sweetness.
Chicken chutney- the chicken was good and the sauce have a nice refreshing taste to it, mangos in it were to large and tasted terrible.
Reuben- Now I try the reuben anytime I see it on the menu anywhere and this was a very nice reuben
miners steak sandwich- basically shredded beef on a nice roll but still tasty could have used a bit of ajus.
Coleslaw is great
All in all the sandwiches were good and I was pleased there does seem to be a difference between the cooks though I could tell the difference between one cook and the other but still good. Im hoping the "real" food tonight is just as good.
