Kept wanting to stay here, but it never worked out till this year. Enjoyed the whole experience. The rooms were nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Had a view from our porch over the little Colorado River and the Navajo reservation. Would definitely go back!

Fantastic room for the price! Stopped on our way down from Utah and wasn't sure! We were pleasantly surprised as the room was huge, A/C was amazing and the shower was great! The restaurant next door has good food! Amazing sunset

We stayed 2 nights here, and reserved a top floor canyon view room. First impressions on finding our way to the room were eye-opening, as we had an unobstructed view of the canyon and the river, which at this time of year in August was fairly low. The room was lovely, tastefully decorated, and having a corner position on the upper deck facing west and north meant we could look through 2 windows to see the beautiful landscape. We heard no noise whatsoever, and slept well on the really comfortable king bed. The room also had his 'n hers sinks, so no fights over who gets to use the bathroom first. The only downside was the wi-fi signal, which was extremely unreliable where we were. Most guests found this too, and even when moving to the main building and garden, still had its problems. Luckily we are from an era where there is more to life than having a permanent connection to cyberspace, and just enjoyed the visual sights all around us. We ate in the hotel restaurants both nights, which was absolutely fine. Quick service and a respectable menu certainly enabled us to feel well sated. Practically all guests, I suppose, like to stay here to access the Grand Canyon, as we did, via the nearby drive, and view one of the greatest landscapes on earth. As we left, we felt a touch of sadness in leaving such a beautiful location. Aside from the wi-fi issue, the Cameron Trading Post is a great place to stay, with reasonable rates, great views, and a lovely courtyard garden to relax in the evening. We thoroughly loved our stay here and would not hesitate to revisit.

Room Tip: Top floor canyon views

The rooms are inviting, roomy, and clean. You can get a great sleep in the comfortable beds. The garden area is relaxing and fun to spend time there. The restaurant has luscious food especially the local options. The fry bread, Navaho taco, and Navaho stew are really good! The Navaho taco is large enough to share. The gift shop has a huge selection of Navaho art and goodies to spend your money on. You can also do a drive through the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Go in the east entrance and be sure and stop at the first view point after the entrance. It is awesome! Head to the village and explore along the way. You can go out the south entrance heading towards Williams. Enjoy!

Literally in the middle of nowhere inside an indian reservation. It's really hard to find any other hotels down there. Anyway the place is clean with an amazing view and a nice garden. Food is not that bad especially for dinner but the breakfast is really poor. So, good for a quick stop. 1 day max.
