“Better than average resort restaurant.”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

The service at both breakfast and dinner was wonderful. The dinner menu was more adventurous than expected for a hotel/resort and we enjoyed seafood appetizers and entrees. Great eggs benedict in the AM and crab cakes in the PM. Great cocktails, and moderate wine list. Prices moderate for the quality of food and service. Will return!

“Blah”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

The Palo Verde was nice visually. The waiter was loud and they were dressed in cowboy shirts, odd for upscale restaurant. The menu was limited and food was okay. If you don't feel like dressing up just get room service it is the same menu. The shrimp came out not fully cooked. Chicken was okay, nothing to write home about. All of the waiters did not know the specials off by heart they all read them off a piece of paper and had trouble pronouncing the dishes correctly. Just stay in your jammies and order it in! Expectations are less that way.

Food was top-notch at Palo Verde. We ate two days in a row and ordered different items; all the meals were great!

“Nice atmosphere”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

I ordered halibut for dinner and I found it a bit overcooked. The side dish was spectacular. A combination of Mexican squash, corn, beans, finely chopped red pepper and onions.

Wine list was not extensive but had a few classics. The service was impeccable, the waitress was very helpful ( she went to the kitchen a few times to ask about the side dish ingredients) and the atmosphere was nice. A larger group joined and they were lively, the rest of patrons were mostly couples.

For desert I ordered a sponge cake with strawberries. Other than the size there was nothing impressive about it.
