This was our 6th visit to this resort. We have always felt very welcome. The rooms and grounds are very nice. You are treated like royalty. The restaurant and staff are excellent also. We will be returning

I have been interested in visiting for years - finally made it recently with my 14-year-old daughter. The casita was very nice, the grounds were lovely and the bell staff and concierge were excellent. However, other service and food were spotty. Received New York Times delivered to room most days, but not everyday; bottled water was supposed to be replenished in room for Hilton Honors members, but it never was; the maid didn't replenish shampoos/lotion in room one day; one of the Keurig cups for my use in room had already been used by someone else; the spa staff were pretentious; and when I tried to make a purchase in the spa shop I was ignored. We also decided that the Good Egg down the street had a better breakfast than the resort dining room, so we went out for breakfast each day. All in all not a bad trip, but I expected a higher level of service.

We have been waiting for years for the opportunity to experience this unique resort and finally had the opportunity to do so this summer. We loved the casita- clean, comfortable, even the keychain light was a great idea! The small touches made all the difference. Lovely patio didn't have a great view but we loved it anyway- it felt private and secluded which is exactly what we wanted. The grounds are beautiful, especially the pool at night. The only disappointment was in the service - for the level of prestige at this resort I would expect world class service. I was quite surprised when we asked to sit in the restaurant (because we wanted to enjoy a drink on the patio, then order dinner after) and we were told that we would receive faster and better service across the lobby in the bar. We had already been to the bar the night before and wanted to try the only other dining option. It seemed like an odd response. Valets were excellent but the rest of the staff seemed to lag a little. We certainly enjoyed our stay but are not rushing back too soon.

Four of us stayed in a 3 bedroom casita at the Boulders, which was spacious and well-equipped. The Spa was wonderful with a great full length pool. The food was excellent as was the service. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and very helpful. Picturesque location.
