Staff were helpful, the suite was spacious, clean, quiet and very handsome. Grounds were nice. The adjacent restaurant (Tonto Bar and Grill) was excellent -- we celebrated our anniversary there with several friends. The town of Cave Creek is a very nice place as well.

This resort is definitely our favorite in the DRI group. We are gold members and have visited several other resorts in the US but this beats the others by far. This resort is relatively new to the DRI group and at this time of year is very quiet which is just to our liking. During our weeks stay I don't think I ever saw more than three or four other people at any one time. The resort at this time of year is so relaxing.

The pool is zero entry (walk-in on a gentle slope) and has recently been resurfaced. It was very refreshing during the hot Arizona days and clean, despite the flora that sometimes blew into the water. Again, it was never busy at all and for the most part I had a private pool. I ventured into the hot tubs on a couple of occasions and these too worked very well and were very clean.

This year the wifi worked flawlessly in the Casitas and the PC in the main lobby also worked much better than my previous visit.

Each Casista is well appointed with first class appliances in the kitchen, flat screen tv's in the lounge and bedrooms, bedding and towels. Our unit would comfortably sleep six in two bedrooms and a fold away bed. There was plenty of other furniture in the lounge enabling six to sit in comfort. The casita was ready for us on our arrival and was cleaned to a high standard. There is only a mid-week clean which is fine with me because I don't feel I have to leave in order to allow housekeeping in everyday.

The grounds are well tendered although I didn't actually see anyone gardening. Barbecues are available in the communal grounds and barbecue tools can be requested from reception. Two members of staff provided us with exceptional service and I would like to thank both Sheryl and Patrick for making our stay so perfect.

Although this is a Vacation Ownership resort in the DRI group it was so nice not to have been plagued into attending a presentation, owner update or owner workshop that actually turns out to be a sales pitch designed to get you to purchase more points. Please don't change this because it does make the resort so much more relaxing.

We will certainly return to this resort again but next time we hope we can stay for two weeks instead of the one we booked this time.

My wife and I stayed two nights at Rancho Manana. The Casita's were very large and in immaculate condition, furnishings were terrific - i.e. Viking Stove, Sub Zero Refrigerator, rustic furniture and furnishings. The grounds were spectacular. The unit had two separate bedrooms, both with king size beds and large bathrooms. There was also a Murphy Bed as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this Resort. We plan to spend a full week there at another time.

Room Tip: Our unit was on the second floor and did not have a view of the golf course and mountains in the bac...

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Rancho Manana. We ate at Tonto's, which was excellent. We live in Las Vegas and have a huge variety of good restaurants, but we found the food at Tonto's was on the same level as our top 5 star restaurants. The pool was very refreshing, since it was quite humid after the rain storms. When we have stayed in the area before, we always took many side trips. This time it was such a pleasure just to relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds and sit on the balcony and watch the birds. Cave Creek is such a charming town, and we will be back.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the upper floor with a view of the grounds. There are many steps, so if you cannot climb...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom "casita" for one week. We travelled with our close friends and their family so in total there were 8 of us in the casita. That was perfectly fine space-wise. The resort was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and excellent. The rooms were gorgeous and the kids had a blast in the swimming pool. The landscaping is very nice and one night when we were having a bbq, we saw a family of javelina's walking through the golf course. The small town of Cave Creek is very quaint and the resort is a good central location for going to other cities.I would definetely stay here again.

We stayed in a 2 Bed/2 Bath Condo for two nights We purchased a special deal through AmazonLocal.com And paid the price we would have paid for a simple hotel room at a long-range hotel.
This condo and resort are beautiful. The condos are fully equipped and nicely decorated in AW decor. The The appliances & furnishings are modern and upscale.
The staff was super friendly and wanted to do whatever possible to make our stay great. There's a pool, spa and golf course.
Very peaceful.
This deal was probably offered to attract people during the hot summer season and to hopefully draw in repeat business. We are sold!! We had such a great time and highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor & suggest that for better views (No elevators. We had individual entrance w...

This is absolutely the most beautiful resort we've been to! GORGEOUS and HUGE 2 bedroom units immaculately maintained and clean. Units are beautifully upgraded and tastefully decorated. Every inch was meticuloulsy clean - with even a card under all the beds saying "Yes, we clean under here, too!" Have NEVER seen that before - so cool!!
Rooms have balconies or patios, HUGE bathrooms with lovely and large walk in showers, full kitchens with top of the line Viking and Sub Zero appliances, granite countertops, fully stocked kitchen necessities, washer/dryer, the most comfortable beds with top of the line new cotton linens, mexican tile and updated clean carpets, lots of seating in living room and dinette, flat screen TVs in ALL rooms (except bathrooms), wi-fi recently added to all rooms. A/C is central and works superbly. Resort has stunning and meticulously maintained grounds, outdoor fireplace in center of units, gas BBQ's and seating. Ample parking near buildings. Grounds are lush and green with many trees and plants, potted flowers. Pool area is absolutely breathtaking with lagoon style, beach entry pool, 2 small hot tubs separated by a small waterfall, another huge rock waterfall feature, very comfortable padded lounge chairs, umbrellas, trees including palms, situated next to golf course with gorgeous views of the greens. Wildlife everywhere with cotton tail rabbits and ground squirrels romping on the grounds. We saw a bobcat wandering around pool in the evening - beautiful! Native javelina also can be occaionally spotted - a real treat to see. The only thing missing at this resort is a pool snack bar. There is a building that used to house a snack bar, right by pool, but hasn't been in operation for a while. However, staff said it may return soon. Pool is located next to lobby, not next to rooms, but only a short walk through the lovely grounds from the rooms. Resort is extremely quiet, peaceful and serene - feels like a home away from home. We barely saw or heard anyone. Onsite restaurant, Tonto Bar and Grill, is sublime with large menu and gourmet top notch food with beautiful patio seating with views of stunning golf course. Resort is tucked away in the old western town of Cave Creek with tons of charm and character, lots of restaurants and shops, but best to drive. Golf course is spectacular, probably the most scenic and gorgeous course in Phoenix area with affordable summer rates.
The spa is no longer in operation (but may be coming back), but wasn't a problem for us. If you want a quiet and peaceful utterly relaxing getaway, away from it all, this is the place for you! We will be back without a doubt - can't wait!
