Lone Tree Golf Club House Restaurant is a great place for a hamburger! Very tasty, nice price, great service and over looks the golf course. I am not a golfer, my husband is, says he like to golf there only on the Friday late afternoon special. Great in the winter, tough in the summer when it is still 107 at 5 pm. If in the area, stop by and try the hamburger. On Friday evenings in the winter months, the restaurant offers a fish fry special. It is really yummy.

I did not get a very good first impression when I walked into the Pro Shop and the staff member was cursing under his breath about someone on the other end of the phone. Nice! The warm-up area is spacious but had limited grass to hit from. The course is OK-some elevated and well-sloped greens; lots of sand in the traps; interesting 'island' green par 3. The main complaint was they let groups of 5 play; we were behind two of them. Not a marshall in sight so play was slow and on some holes we had 4 groups. 3-4 groups gave up and headed in before they finished the round.

Lone Tree is a balanced course in a housing development with a few challenges but a basic design. It is surrounded by attractive, modest homes.

Not too demanding, well groomed, a tad pricy, plenty long with above average par threes, and enough sand to last a summer tour, this is Lonetree. Bring your camera, it's a very lovely course. Nice club house and very friendly staff.

The course is in nice shape, greens well-kept, but is a little pricy. Nestled in the middle of a housing community, many of the holes are lined with houses, so you can't hook/slice it too much or it will become someone else's property...but the houses tend to be higher than the fairways so if you are a little off, it will roll down to the fairway or closer to it. Many of the holes have rock beds lining the fairways, which give you extra roll while improving your lie. They prefer you book your tee time online, and that is where you find the better deals. You pay when you check in, and the course was packed both days I played it, so play was slow, but we joined another 2some and it went fine. There is a neat island par-3, and enough water on other holes to challenge you. Liked the course overall, but prefer to play in the afternoons for twilight rates. Price drops after 1p and again after 3pm.
