The scenery at the Hotel was just amazing. The staff greatest us very kindly and showed is to our room. Defiantly going to check back here often whenever I visit Phoenix. Also, the room was well kept. Only downside is that the self-park was a little far from the main entrance, but who am I kidding? That's a silly complaint. Go Sheraton!

Nice hotel but with a couple of very broken parts.

Had issue with service in restaurant and supervisor simply shrugged shoulders when spoken to. Called customer service who is acting MOD - MariaM.

Other than lying over a couple of things which she then ultimately acknowledged as her error and being generally unhelpful - she refused on phone to provide the name of her manager, this is not what one would expect or hope for at a resort that believes it is offering something superior.

When I went to lobby she brought out the card of her manager but claimed he could do no more than her. I asked if he was GM which she flip flopped on. She offered me $8 refund for breakfast which I did not request. As i had not made any demand the comment that this was all they would do was inappropriate and premature at best. Tone was poor. Attitude was awful.

Great location but service issues remain. I will take this up with FO Manager (only name I could get despite asking for F&B manager) and will post update.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We know that this post was written before many of the corrective steps taken by our leadership team were enacted. No guest should feel disregarded and we are sorry that your breakfast experience was anything less than perfect. We are glad that we were ultimately able to converse with you and learn our areas of opportunity through your eyes. We have discussed take away items with all involved. Thank you for your stay and we hope to have the chance to make your next one far superior.

We spent 4 nights on a family trip to get in some warm weather. Setting is nice, secluded from the busy streets. Resort was quiet, like empty. Hard to know how that works. Food was decent. Over priced so we ate around town. Rooms were decent, beds and pillows comfortable for our taste. Resort was spread out so it takes stroll to get anywhere. Maid service woke us up every morning which got old. No fridge other than the locked mini bar which is stuffed with overpriced things, we just left it locked. Would have been nice to be able to have a spot to put water or drinks for our kid. They really want you to spend more money. Pools were a disappointment. Two of seven were actually warm enough to do anything. I don't know that any were heated other than solar. Water slide was neat. . Overall we wouldn't go back and we aren't that picky.

Room Tip: Don't face the parking lot

Stayed here for a conference last month. The setting is nice - great views on one side of the hotel, with a very pleasant pool area. Rooms are fine, although those on the other side of the hotel risk having car park views - go for a higher floor if you are put on that side. What really lets the hotel down is the internet service and mobile phone reception, which ranges from poor to non-existent: totally unacceptable for a business conference venue (there is a conference centre attached to the hotel so this is clearly a major part of its business) and not great for a holiday location. The hotel is also some way out of Phoenix so it's a long journey to get anywhere downtown. Good golf course on site and pleasant jogging trail. Staff all seemed pleasant too. Would I stay there again? No, but it would be fine for a break of a few days if looking for winter sun and to keep away from mobile devices!

Room Tip: Insist on a room on the pool side of the building.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your stay. We are happy to hear you enjoyed a few of the many amenities our resort offers. However, I am sorry to hear that the Wi-Fi connectivity was less than ideal. We understand the importance of staying connected during a conference. We would love for you to visit the resort again and allow us the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

The place was clean and somewhat nice. But it was lacking in cleaning your room. We would come back in the evening and there would still be dirty towels and our breakfast dishes still in the room or sitting outside our door. Customer service at the front desk/guest services/bell service was very good. The restaurants were really good too! The spa was good - great services - highly recommend the oxygen facial - it was wonderful!

This is one place where the resort DOES look like the photos. I will start from literally the beginning....The winding drive to the resort is beautifully landscaped and immaculate...the lobby and public areas were lovely with spectacular views of the property and mountains...staff were super friendly and helpful...our "standard" room was very clean and spacious with a good sized balcony overlooking the pool area, desert and mountains. The rooms were quiet too - I am a very light sleeper and it drives me crazy when I can hear people in the next room but I heard nothing besides the interior doors closing. The pools and surrounding areas were very spacious with loads of lounge chairs. Unfortunately, due to the cooler weather last week we only sat out a few times but did enjoy the outdoor patio for lunch - again the staff there were super friendly and efficient. Any meals we had were great and I also think that for a 4/5 star resort the prices were pretty decent. For me, my favourite feature about this resort is the location. It is only about 20-25 minutes from the airport but as it is on Indian Reservation land surrounded by desert and a golf course it was a little more secluded then resorts near Scottsdale for example. We really felt we were away from the craziness of everyday life which is exactly what we were after. Having said all that, it is only a 10 minute drive to loads of shops and restaurants and the casino is 5 minutes away.
We got up every morning and walked the 2.5 mile trail along a creek which was lovely and we were fortunate to see different wildlife en route.
The property spa - AJI - was fabulous. An Oasis in what was already an Oasis. Highly recommended - again facilities, treatment and staff superb.
Do try the Sunday brunch - a great selection of items and many with a new twist - loved the house made Salsa.
And...for those who have a sense of adventure and a car....drive down to Baseline Road (south of property?) which runs into a more active part of the Indian Reservation. I just happened to cruise through and saw a sign for "Fry Bread" at what is literally a shack called "The Owl House" and thought "why not?". They make Tacos etc. using the Fry bread which is based on an old Pima Indian recipe. It was great and definitely won't be in Fodor's - love that kind of stuff.
One last thing but definitely the cherry on top...no "hic-cups"...not one in terms of incorrect billings, reservations, order mix-ups, wait times etc. While not the end of the world when they do happen - more just an irritant - without them, it really makes for the "perfect stay".
I would definitely come back and am planning on doing so next time we visit Arizona with my family.

Room Tip: Ask for one overlooking the mountains.

A was amazed at the beautiful setting of this wonderful Resort. Situated in the Sonoran Desert this resort offered a modern and well appointed hotel inspired in design by the desert surrounding.

The resort offered a series of beautiful pools, a desert nature walk with a fabulous creek and water way system. This water system attracted many local birds, turtles, squirrels and coyotes. The trail system
Also had a wonderful equestrian trail for horse back riding. Although I did not use the Golf Course, it's setting against the desert and nearby mountains was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful clubhouse and well appointed spa.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Presidential Suite in the Pima Wing, 4th Floor. The suite was absolutely gorgeous, offering two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, den, kitchen and fireplace. The spa tub was gorgeous.

My only complaints is that the wings of the hotel wings are extremely long. If you are at the ends if these wings it's a big trek to go back and forth to the lobby, bar, pool and amenities. The Internet access was limited and sporadic, but the hotel staff fixed this on the second day of our trip.

I would recommend this resort to others.
