Don't waste your time with run of the mill chain restaurants. This is a real find so when in Phoenix try one of the two. Ask for samples so you can find what you like best. Great twist on fusion. Chicken fried rice and black beans with ginger chicken and a quesadilla Wow
No need to dress up just go

Somehow it works. Food is amazing. Good value for money. Atmosphere is like high school cafeteria - don't go here for a first date to impress someone. Can be a bit loud depending on how busy there are.

As with the original Chino Bandito location, the food is really very good and that makes this a place that is worth going to. They do a number of chicken varieties and they are moist, tender and flavorful. Their machacha beef has an interesting tang to it. The black beans are a worthy side choice as are all of the rices. The snickerdoodle cookies are worth sticking in your purse and having "falatah" (for later to a newyawkah). A couple of cautions about this location - it is back off the road in the back corner of a shopping center with twisty driveways, so you need to keep an eye peeled to find it; we didn't notice that they had the samples as they do at the Phoenix location, so if you like the samples, you won't find them here; and, finally, the location is a much larger space with brighter window walls, high ceilings and lots of table space so you are not elbow to elbow with others but it does seem to be a bit less warm and inviting than the Phoenix location. None of those three cautions should prevent you from trying this place because the food is supremely better than your normal taco in a box.

I was interested in trying the food here, since i like to make odd combinations myself. And boy was it great. It has different meats of the asian and mexican varieties, and you can have it mexican style in a burrito or quesadilla, or asian style in a rice bowl, or just seperate. The jade red chicken in a quesadilla is by far my favorite!! If its your first time there they will let you sample the different meats so you know what you are getting which is great. This place is sure to please most tastes in food, especially kids who are notorious for doing odd things lol

Really wasn't to sure about this place when I first heard of it, however I gave it a try. This place is pretty good, nice little vibe in the restaurant. Very big space for large groups, big screen on the wall with sports playing. Now lets get to the food, it's a mixture of Asian an Mexican. I always end up getting the same thing jade chicken black beans an jerk chicken rice. Maybe one day I will venture out an try other things, then again maybe not.
