“love this one”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2014

Its not typical sandwich place but love the asian tastes in the place. Love to order double bbq chines port sandwich with cilantro . Always love the fresh french baguettes

Cant beat this for uniqueness but note its not american style .

I love it and the spring rolls are so good if they are in stock

could go for the fried also but unfried are great.

ube flavored ice drink is awesome and rare to find folks

“Get the iced coffee!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2014 via mobile

The baguette is excellent and the sandwiches are fresh, but the iced coffee is exceptional.

I like the Asian sandwiches, specifically the #12 vegetarian.

“Go for the croissant.. Good sandwiches....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2013

Go for the croissant, it is so much better than baguette bread, though this place is famous for the french style baguette that they make there.. That stuff is too hard and dry for me.. Good sandwiches.... Better than subway....

“Better than I thought it would be...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2013

I've been to a few Lee's Sandwiches in CA. This one is pretty much the same, although slightly more organized on the inside than the few I've been to.

Pros:

Their special sandwich is almost as good as some of the top banh mi places I've been to in CA and MN. Service was fast and their menus are nice and big. Their pick up area is well marked and hard to miss and they have ample seats for people who want to dine in.

Cons:

They skimp on the toppings, big time. You have to order extra meat with every sandwich because they will literally put one slice of meat in. They charge you too much for extra meat as well, in an absurd way too. Let me explain, if you purchase a sandwich that has 3 different kinds of meat in it, they charge you almost $1 extra for each kind of meat you want extra, so a $3 sandwich that's light on toppings would turn into a $6 sandwich. Their Vietnamese offerings (ie egg rolls, other fried goodies) had clearly been sitting too long under their warming lights.

Overall:

They are the only place to get banh mi within the Phoenix metro area that isn't terrible. The value is not good, and you WILL have to load up on extra meat do to topping sparseness. Supply and demand, they have it, no one else does, and they charge an arm and a leg for it.
