We were specifically looking for a local diner kind of place as we drove through Cottonwood. We made our way into the "Historic Cottonwood" area and found this place. Parking lot was busy (good sign!) and once we got in, it was obvious that it's a favorite w/ the locals. We could hear the waitresses greet most of the customers by name. There was a wall with a bunch of awards that the cafe had received - best breakfast, best family restaurant, etc.
We both had omelets - very light & fluffy w/ lots of cheese, one w/ sausage & one w/ bacon - both very good. Came w/ potatoes, & toast or biscuits & gravy. A lot of good homestyle-cooked food!
Very friendly service and reasonably priced.
