Being our first visit to Verde Valley it was great that the ranger at the gate gave a nice clear briefing. She also told us we could just pick any site for overnight and move the next day if we wanted because it was getting dark.

We stayed on an RV site. Besides a lot of ants it was perfect... gravel site, level, hookups fine. The SCENERY, buildings, equipment and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We appreciate the absence of dust on things in the family center because of allergic sensitivities. Verde Valley gets A+ all around.

This park is a great place to visit Sedona and even the Grand Canyon is within reach on a day trip.

We stayed a week in a mini cabin (no cooking facilities) had a BBQ, microwave and small fridge, cabin was small but adequate. The scenery was beautiful, the grounds well kept, staff friendly and lots to do in the area

Great campsite with a lot of amenities! It's great for a family vacation with the kids. The property and facilities were nice. There is even a local winery right outside the property which my wife and I visited and would recommend you check out!

Another great Thousand Trails/Encore campground. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The scenery is beautiful. Even the ride to the gate, and then from the gate to the actual camping sites, makes you gasp. I've been up to greet the dawn several times and to watch the sun peek over the tops of the hills surrounding our campsite.

The location was the perfect base for us as we were able to take day rides on our motorcycle from Prescott to Flagstaff and many places in between. We're looking forward to coming back!

Room Tip: Sites facing north provide the best shade in the afternoon.

We stayed there this past weekend with 2 other coulples in RV sites right near us. It was such an amazing place. The staff was great and amenities are amazing! I work for a hotel so know all about customer service and they all were so wonderful. Even the other long term guests of this RV resort were all so wonderful to speak to.
We will definitley be back and hope to book a large group in June or July this year.
Thanks for a great weekend!!

Room Tip: We did not stay in a room as se stayed in an RV site and that was Excellent

This is our 4th year we have spent at least 6 months in Verde Valley. It is one of Thousand Trails best camp ground We have been members since 1986, First Leisure Time, until Thousand Trails purchased it. We have been in a lot of Thousand Trails and Leisure Time resorts. We decided this year to lease a site for a year. Always plenty to do. They have an excellent restaurant in the Club House. Always plenty to do.

We are members of "TT"/Encore Resorts and have witnessed the condition of these parks start to show there wear and tear. We stayed at this park in the month of Oct and the weather was absolutely perfect 75-78::42-45. The park is down inside the canyon and protected by the elements. There are some minor issues but all the utilities work great. Verizon 3G is limited and only WiFi at the activities building. Laundromat clean and all worked. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Some spots are tight with limited dish. Plenty of hiking, biking, mini golf. The restaurant has good food at a reasonable price. The activities outside the park kept us busy the three weeks we were there. There's the train ride,Jerome ghost town, Historic Cottonwood, Sedona, Prescott, and tons of awesome food spots. The activities room has a full rack of things to do. This park is by far a good one to visit. We can't wait to get back next fall.
