we make the 1 hour drive to triangle t monthly to dine with friends and enjoy live music on saturday night. the food is great. surroundings of texas canyon rocks is great. the lady who owns the place is still running it into the ground. the constant turnover of employees in the restaurant spins my head. always new servers and chefs. most supposed chefs look like skid row short order cooks. on a few occasions complaints handled by owner upset the diners even more and her demeanor makes other diners upset hearing it. we thought exposure on the travel channel would help this lady but apparently no one at the tv show spent any time asking guests or her dozens of one-shift only employees what the problems were. yesterday we sent friends there to speak with event person about group gatherings but first we advised them to eat only if they could lower service expectations and simply enjoy ambience. for most part employees seem nice and hardworking but owner seems impossible to work for. don't think we've had the same chef, bartender or waitress twice.

wow!! we actually stayed at this place, that's another review, but boy howdy the service in the bar was very bad. we had our grandson with us on this trip, so we ordered drinks and a cheese sandwich for our grandson. 50 minutes later we still had not gotten the cheese sandwich. we asked the server what the problem was. she blamed it on a new cook who happened to burn the cheese sandwich. o.k. I got it. but it takes that long to make a cheese sandwich. I don't think so.
the very bright spot in this whole dining experience was a waitress named, Jennifer, and I hope I spelled her name right. man, she was a very good waitress. she made it right when it came time to pay the bill and even offered to take our group to see some other sites on the ranch. what a nice person. thank you Jennifer!!!

we heard on tv about this great place to eat but our steaks and ribs were charred and our appetizers came out with our food. on other hand the bartender lady was a hoot and gave us some history about the area which we didn't know.

Amazing smokehouse ribs. Best Bbq sauce. Enjoyed the Saturday night band with our dinner. Make reservations.

Rog and I drove out to the Rock Saloon at the Triangle T ranch for dinner and hear a special bluegrass band out of Tucson called Cadillac Mountain. What a night! The Saloon and porch were decorated for the season and the staff was welcoming. Dinner was fabulous (ribs for him and chicken for me) and it was much fun to listen to the music. There was a big party going on for some local business and they sure were enyjoing the night. We didn't have room for the che'fs special buttermilk pie (made from scratch people!) but we took 2 big slices home. It's a bit of a drive from Sierra Vista maybe about 50-55 minutes but our experience was worth it. So happy to see this place is back on track. That guy on the Travel Channel was right, the food really is worth an effort.
