Being from New England, I am a bit particular about my fish and chips. Most places in the west use a heavy beer batter. Yuk! Bugles on the other hand use a fine panko bread crumb coating that is cripsy and tasty but doesn't swamp the fish. Randi, the owner, uses only fresh cod for his fish and chips. It is white, flaky, and moist. Severed with the fish are Bugle's homemade chips! Thin, crispy, and nicely browned! They also make their own cole slaw. My husband thinks it is the best around. Be sure to go on a Friday night when the fish and chips is all you can eat! Please don't drive right by, stop and enjoy!
