“Decent layout but a bit trick”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

Course is very picturesque particularly the back 9 returning up the canyon. However some of the holes require layups to avoid cross hazards which are not easily ascertained if playing for the first time. A bit pricey at 150 dlrsd for the condition of the course -- bunkers. We Ko Pah is a far better experience

“Average-Maybe”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

Played this course in the last week of February in terrific weather. Was a bit disappointed with the small range as we had to wait to warm up. We got to the tee late as we were told by the starter to wait as he was a bit confused. The layout was OK for the most part although it is within many homes and lacks a bit of the open desert look. The wicked six are difficult but mostly because of poorly designed holes. EX: the par 5 16th-533yds played into the wind and the last 175 yds are uphill. From 60 yds out in the middle of the fairway I could not see the green- not a good design.
The 18th green is similar as it is tough to see the green. The ball would sit down in many of the fairways and the greens were thin and slow. The 2 We-ko-pa courses were far better for the value. Not enough value for the cost.

“Great course, good price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014

At a time when similar courses are 185 - 225 I found this place to be excellent value (paid 125 for green fee, cart, and range balls) and an excellent course that ranges far and wide up and down the hill. Great views, multiple tee boxes, not busy when I went (Mon morning), and very playable.

“Very Challenging course.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 December 2013

Twelve of us played this course at the end of November. The course was very scenic and challenging. The experience was however spoiled by the marshal who was extremely rude to the players. Apart from that fine gentleman the players did have a great day of golfing.

“Great Challenging Course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

My wife and I played this course this morning. Cart paths only. Course was in great shape but heavy recent rains had softened and significantly lengthened the Course. Because we could not take the cart to the ball locations, approach shots were difficult to judge the distance to the pins. The cart GPS was not helpful. The flag colours were very little help in determining hole locations. Sunridge Canyon is a terrific course and I believe the most difficult course in the valley relative to its rating and slope. The par threes are excellent, long and requiring very precise shot making. Bring your "A Game" when you play here.
The staff were excellent, especially the refreshment cart lady and the restaurant staff.
