Babbo is tucked away in a mall right next to a safeway on 67th ave and the loop 101. The grounds of the entire mall are well groomed and looks good from the outside. then you walk inside and your greeted with a modern upscale look with browns and tan colors. So far im impressed and they have an easy 5 star they sat us next to a table with a screaming baby so we asked to moved to a booth and after a few minutes we settled in.
The menu is large but not over whelming and it explains what everything is cuz lets face it we all don't read Italian. Ordered a calzone which was large and well cooked, asparagus penne pasta in a white sauce which had a nice varity of fresh veggies and nice cream sauce and I had the bolognaise which was a touch bitter but had a nice flavor and a lot of meat a good portion for a 280 pound Italian. All of this plus three salads and three sodas came to $50 which I found to be a fair price roughly $11 per entrée. If you down for some good Italian give this place a shot. just keep in mind that they get very busy in the evening so call ahead and make a reservation or prepare to wait. I went Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was half full.
