We really enjoy dining at nice non-chain restaurants and Bella Luna certainly was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service first rate. We will go back very soon and highly suggest you try it also.

“No Competition”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Stopped at Bella Luna for lunch. Little storefront in a nice shopping center in the growing area of Goodyear Arizona. The town is named for the tire company who bought all the land years ago to grow cotton to make their product.

Bella Luna was a nice surprise, with very good food and service. The salads were great as was their house dressing. We all tried different entrees and no one found any reason to complain. All were well made, of high quality and very tasty, Only criticism could be the bread, not what I'd call Italian but did enjoy the balsamic and eevo with it.

I'm sure the locals know this place but if your passing by on the I-10 get off at Litchfield Road and go a little north to Indian School and your there. We liked it and will be back. It's the only non chain in the area that we could find.

“Support local”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

In the West Valley's sea of franchises, Bella Luna stands out as one of the only locally owned restaurants where they take time to know your name, your likes, and cook specials your way. The owners came to Goodyear from New York about 20 years ago, and while the recipes are somewhat frozen in that time period, they are well prepared, delicious and plentiful. we make it a point to stop by at least once a month.

We had to wait a little while for a table, but it was well worth waiting. Very friendly and efficient staff, with truly good food. This is a very small restaurant, but it's worth the trip and waiting to get a table. My Chicken Piccata was wonderful.

“Above average for Goodyear but...”
Reviewed 17 March 2014 via mobile

Let me first say that if you need to eat dinner in the area, this should be at or near the top of your list (seriously, Cracker Barrel? Really?). That said, it's not a great restaurant or even a very good one, just the best of a culinary wasteland. The decor is reasonably attractive, service was fine although a little overdone, and the food was OK. The calamari was rubbery and seemed prepackaged. The salad was not tossed in the dressing, and had too much of it. My entree was swimming in water from the pasta or vegetable sides on the plate; the crust on the veal was soggy. But all in all the meal worked out to be all right.
