I stayed here with my husband and in laws while they were in a golf tournament. The hotel was nice - the staff was polite and responsive. We had no shampoo and we called for some and had a bag of toiletries delivered within 5 minutes (we didnt need 20 toiletries, but at least it was quick). Our room was nice and spacious but it was a conjoining room, which was very noisy, and unfortunately there was a wedding this weekend so our neighbor kept us up the majority of the night. The pool area is very enjoyable. There is a golf course across the lot where you can enjoy complimentary breakfast Buffett. Unfortunately, our server was extremely rude, asked us for our voucher and immediately circled "gratuity not included" And walked away. The food was not that great for breakfast or lunch, everything closes at 8:00pm, and unfortunately there's nothing else very close so you're kind stuck dining there by default. Overall, if you have to be up there for the weekend, this is a good place to stay for two nights max - I'd just recommend traveling out for meals or bringing lots of snacks.
We appreciate your review about your recent experience at our resort. I am happy to hear that you had a nice weekend even though you experienced some challenges with the Grill on the Green restaurant. I will definitely share your comments with the restaurant manager and hopefully she will be able to improve the experience for our future guests. I will have to find out what happened with the pool area during your stay as we have never had any complaints about the cleanliness of our pool. If you have a minute I would love to hear directly from you so that I know what you encountered. My phone number is 520-382-0460, or I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We recently spent a week at this hotel while in the area visiting my retired parents who winter in Green Valley. We decided to get their largest room, (with the kitchen and actual separate 'bedrooms'), and were NOT disappointed! The room was actually more of a condo with a full kitchen, dining table, and two bedrooms - one bedroom off the spacious living room, and the other tucked away behind the kitchen with it's own tv and ensuite. There is a very large, private balcony with table and chairs and a great view of the golf course, pool/hot tub (which we used), and water feature/fountain. Did I mention the room was 1500 square feet!? Aaaand, we paid well under $300/night. We are big travelers, and were very pleasantly surprised at the value/size. The room is not 'fancy' but very comfortable. The only problems I had were the tv was a bit 'snowy', and the walls a bit thin. We did not see any of the 'regular' rooms, but I know that everyone who stays at the hotel, gets breakfast included with their room at the "The Grill" across the street (the restaurant at Canoa Ranch Golf Course). A very acceptable buffet including a chef to make you a custom omelet. The Wyndham property is quiet, lush, and compared to the other local hotel(s), it's a no-brainer. If you want a local hotel..stay here. We would stay again, and would recommend it to others.
Thank you for writing a review about your recent stay with us at our resort. I must agree that our two bedroom suites provide the best value in all Southern Arizona. These suites are the largest I have seen working in the hotel industry for 16 years. The granite counters and stainless steel appliances help to accentuate the fully equipped kitchens. The furnished patio or balcony provides a great venue for an outdoor meal. The gas fireplaces are a nice touch but hardly ever get used. The warm weather stays nice year round and our outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi are open year round. We hope that you will come back and see us again very soon.
