“Uof A Fan and Greer Lover”
Reviewed 4 September 2012

My family and I have stayed at Snowy Mt Inn on a number of occassions over the years including this most recent Labor Day weekend. What we appreciate the most about our experience(other than the cooler weather, quiet surroundings, and beautiful landscape) is Pat and Dick's willingness to do everything they possible can to insure their guests enjoy their experience. Numerous personal requests by myself and my family was usually met with" no problem". Last year, as an example, we watched the UofA football game in their restaurant well after closing time..which made my son and I HUGE fans of this fine establishment. I not only will recommend Snowy Mt to my friends, but also took a number of brochures to hand out as well. See you again soon!

We returned to Gilbert AZ wishing we could move to Greer! Pat and Dick were awesome! They made us feel like family and catered to our every wish. My kids 7 and 9 had the best time as they got to fish, crawfish hunt, hike and just be kids in the open play areas. We will certainly return and would not even think of staying anywhere else. They are not on the "busy" main street in Greer, but secluded and quiet just as we had hoped. The wildlife we were able to observe was fantastic! RACCOONS ROCK! Thanks guys!

Great place for a family weekend getaway. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Cabins are nice, however some of the linens can use replacement.

Thank you for your review and you are correct about some of the linens needing an upgrade. We are currently in the process of doing just that. After the loss of last summer due to the Wallow Fire, we have been delayed in doing the "housekeeping" items. Please know that we do read our customers positive remarks and remarks that need attention. We hope you are back soon to visit us. Pat & Dick Bruneau

On my previous review from July 2007 I had written:

Snowy mountain Inn is a great place to escape the Phoenix summer heat. There is a lot of play area if you have kids, and you don't have to worry about traffic/roads etc... The cabins are decent if slightly rustic and not terribly clean - (sorry), but the setting is beautiful and peaceful.

An update to this review is we stayed here again in 2008, and this time our cabin was in much better shape. I think it was a newer cabin. We stayed a bit later in the year - September if I remember correctly. This time, in addition to white tail deer, we saw mule deer and elk. It was amazing. If we visit Greer again, we will definitely stay at Snowy Mountain Inn.

Thank you for your updated review and I hope others will read this completely to see the update from you after we communicated. Even though I never got a complete answer as to what was not satisfactory on your first trip, I do appreciate the 4 stars review. We have gone through many changes since 2007 and think you will find Snowy Mountain Inn to be at the top of your list from here on out. We hope you will return again.

We had a weekend getaway with friends of ours during January. Stayed in cabin #8 and it was great. The owners, Dick and Pat are very friendly and cordial. It's only a short walk over to the main lodge where you can dine, have a few drinks and look at all the sports memorabilia. We will definitely be going back to this place soon.

We had a good time with our 10 month old. The property was very quiet and relaxing, the private pond is beautiful and the spa was great (perfect for parents of a baby since we could use it while she was sleeping!). The kitchen had the things we needed and it was great to cook for ourselves while on a trip.
