“Beautiful House in Greer”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

The Ridge House at this property is a great family house for hosting a reunion or celebrating a holiday with several families. We stayed there this Spring and it was a fantastic spot that offers some really nice amenities. The managers provide great friendly service and everything was clean and everything worked. We like this place. We have also stayed in some of the more "rustic" cabins when it is just the wife and I and those are nice too. Molly Butler's bar and restaurant are just down the street about a five minute walk. Dog friendly. Some of the White Mountain lakes are just a 20 minute drive away.

Room Tip: If you stay in one of the smaller cabins as a couple, the cabins in the back are very private.

Thank you for your review, Dave G. Everything "in town" is walking distance which we love about Antler Ridge also.

Me and my family have made a number of trips to Greer Arizona over the years, and have stayed at Antler Ridge cabins many times. Recently, we rented the Ridge House at Antler Ridge which was perfect for our family gathering. The Ridge House had everything we needed and slept all 12 of us comfortably. The cabin had a large living area, a great kitchen and a pool table downstairs. The weather was beautiful and the views were amazing. We stayed out on the deck most of the time, which offered a spectacular view of the entire valley. The onsite staff was courteous and helpful. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful location, great value, wonderfully large fireplace with plenty of wood and they allow dogs. They keep everything very simple and don't hassle you while you are there, nor do they tack on hidden cleaning fees or anything. The kitchen was fully stocked, everything was clean and the view was incredible. The beds are not 5-star or anything, this is after all just a humble cabin, but everything was perfectly comfortable and serviceable. We ran low on firewood and they came round quietly and filled our bin without asking. I've stayed several places in Greer and, for the value, this wins hands down. I will hopefully be returning next year. Oh, if you go, stop and get some cobbler at the little cafe right down the road, they have a sign out front advertising it and it is well worth it!

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our three (yes, three!) large dogs over the Christmas holiday. Having three dogs usually creates a ton of difficulty when it comes to finding a place to stay when on vacation. We often end up having to get a rental home, which is usually more expensive and far more than we really need. There are typically multiple phone calls, contracts and headaches, not to mention ridiculous cleaning fees, deposits, key codes, and awkward face-to-face exchanges with property managers. We end up being stressed out about vacation!

Antler Ridge was a VERY different experience. I called and spoke Coral on the phone and she helped me book a pet-friendly cabin. I mentioned we have three dogs, as I always feel obligated to mention, even though that is usually a deal breaker to most property owners. Coral did not mind it one bit. She let me know there was a $10 per pet fee but that there was no problem with three dogs. There is not even a pet deposit of any sort! I couldn't believe it. I booked the cabin immediately right over the phone without any emails, contracts, or headaches.

When we got to the front office, Coral handed our key right over and directed us to our cabin. The floor heaters were turned on, and it felt great to step out of the snow and into a nice warm cabin. The place was cute and cozy and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. There was plenty of firewood waiting at our doorstep. The cabin also had plenty of nearby area for the dogs to run around, and they had fun frolicking in the snow.

The only complaint I have is the size of the beds. We are used to a king size bed and had trouble sleeping comfortably in a much smaller bed.

Overall, this is a great place to stay for a great price, and you just CANNOT beat how easy it was to stay here with our babies.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. We are delighted to hear that you and your dogs had a wonderful trip! Sorry about the bed size. Unfortunately, king size beds don't fit in most of the bedrooms in our cabins.

We just returned from a long weekend getaway at Antler Ridge and had a great time! We had our two dogs, one of which is 11 years old and can no longer do steps so Steve and Coral accommodated us by letting us choose the best cabin of the pet friendly cabins for our old boy.

It was sleeting and cold when we got there and the cabin was welcoming and warm. Steve kept us stocked up with firewood as we holed up for the first snow of the season. It snowed most of the weekend and for us desert rats, it was great! We were walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the dogs loved playing in the snow. We had a choice of movies from the office to watch and the cabin stayed warm and cozy the entire time.

We'll definately visit Antler Ridge and Greer again!

Over the years my family and I have always had wonderful experiences during our winter, spring and summer visits to Antler Ridge. Its proximity to hiking trails and skiing make it an ideal location for outdoor recreation, with walking distance access to restaurants and a friendly country style saloon. We have particularly enjoyed watching our children's amazement at the hundreds of hummingbirds that come for a snack at the feeders on the porch. Our cabins have always been clean and well-stocked, and the staff have always been friendly, available and genuinely interested in a pleasant stay for their guests. We just got back and are already planning our next visit to Antler Ridge.

We spent four days at Antler Ridge. From the moment we arrived, my 2 year old daughter could not stay away from the "no barbed" hook stocked pond. I will never forget the delight of watching her catch her first fish.

Our cabin was a two bedroom one bath with a fireplace. Wood was provided and the cabin was fairly secluded with a small stream running behind it. The place was self-suffient, and had all appliances, cookware plates, etc. We brought our own food and needed little more. There was a general store, a couple of resturants and a small town tavern nearby.

We dealt witht the staff on a limited basis, although they were friendy and accomodating. It was an amazing break from the summer heat, and we are looking forward to coming back for some fun when it snows.

Room Tip: They have several cabins, from two bedrooms to man more. We stayed on the side of the property near...
