Arrived late at night after a long and hard drive. Very quickly organised a room and a cot for a baby and was then given an excellent recommendation for a local diner across the road, about 400 yards away. Was given useful advice including which door to use!

The room was clean and airy. Even though it faced the highway we didn't notice the noise. The bathroom was spotless and the rooms generally of a good well maintained quality, although the corridors were just a little bit tired. Breakfast was as normal for such hotels, with a fairly attentive staff member keepine everything topped up. The wifi worked even in the far reaches of the hotel.

Absolutely standard Holiday Inn Express, "Does what it says on the tin" to use a British expression, just made slightly better than average by good service.

We enjoyed spending the night in the Holbrook Holiday Inn after being on the road for 11 hours. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was friends, and the breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool with our 4 year old daughter. I was a little disappointed the hot tub wasn't working, but all in all it was a good night.

The inside is cool with decoration of Indian Theme. The room is clean and good as expected since it is a good holiday inn express. (Doesn't like the Days Inn Chained Hotel That Doing Bad Things)

The swimming pool is good there. The best thing is that it is really close to petrified forest national park, and provide good breakfast without having water in the drink(some holiday inn express hotel would have water in drinks...)

We had reservations at a different hotel in Holbrooke, but when we got there, it was awful. We left in search of another hotel and found this one. By then, after a 9 hour drive, we were exhausted. The staff must have recognized our stress, because they were friendly and warm. It was late December of 2011 and we found the room to be excellent. When we checked in, the staff advised us that the beds were brand new--what a great night's sleep we had! The desk staff was very accommodating and efficient. The helped us select the best type of room for the two of us--on the first floor because no elevator to the second floor. They also recommended good, nearby, places to eat. This is the best place to stay in Holbrooke.

Room Tip: No elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, ask for room on the first floor.

We were snowed in and this was the first hotel we saw as we exited I40. We had a ton of luggage and the only room left was at the end of the hall on the 2nd floor. This hotel doesn't have an elevator. The room we were given had a broken key scanner. After 4 keys that didn't work, we were given another room. They lady at the front was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was alright. We would stay here again, but would request a bottom floor room.

Room Tip: Ask for the bottom floor. They don't have an elevator.

Probably the best option out of a bunch of lesser options. The property is older with lots of wear and tear. The room and common areas are clean but far from sparkling. The room has a wall unit AC/Heater. The bed was very soft, by design or just lots of years of use not sure. Friendly staff. Indoor pool but no fitness room. Standard HI Express breakfast. Overall the property is fine, but seems overpriced.

We actually stayed here twice in June 2011 and were pleased with the overall accommodations. The property doesn't have an elevator and that is a problem if you have luggage and are on the second floor. Hotel was clean and reasonably maintained. It's an older property, although you can't tell from the outside, and there are creaking in the floors from the second floor. Annoying, but not a deal killer. The pool looked very well maintained and had the necessary towels. The desk persons were helpful and did their job well. Breakfast was a normal HIE fare and pretty well stocked during breakfast. The lady who maintains the breakfast area isn't the most friendly person, but she did her job well. Recommend for an overnight stay. Ask about the Italian restaurant down the street from the property.

Room Tip: There is no elevator....if stairs are an issue, request a first floor.
