We enjoyed the museum less than picturesque little sidehill town which is what this review is really about. The galleries and artisan crafts were great! The town was a bit crowded but well worth the time.

My husband and I stopped in while walking around Jerome. For $1 each (senior citizen rate) we got in the museum full of information, pictures and items from Jerome's mining days. Definitely worth the price. The gift shop is full of interesting things - I splurged on a couple of copper rings.

This is a small museum located in the back of a gift shop. Admission is $2 with discounts for children and seniors. Lots of explanations, photos and memorabilia about Jerome. If your a history buff like I am, this is the place to go. Located next door is the remains of one of the major buildings in Jerome which is also part of the museum. You can obtain an explanation about the building in the museum. A good way to get some information about Jerome.

This museum was informative even though it was small. Lots of photos, memorabilia and explanations. Even the teenagers enjoyed the time there. It was definitely worth it to stroll through the place, remembering what it must have been like to live in this town not-so long ago. The display about the different types of prostitutes was enlightening and disturbing. What an existence these poor women must have endured.
