“Cool view down a mine shaft”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

I appreciated the effort made to have a little man cage; the head frame and other important equipment. The shaft is fairly well lit and you can stand on the thick plexiglass and peer down for quite a distance. I wish somehow they still had a bit of the underground mine for us to tour but it has been closed for nearly 60 years!

“Must see, great history and view of mine shaft”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

This is a must see and it's free! However, they do accept donations which I would encourage you to pay. This is a quick 15 minute attraction where you can walk up and look down an actual mine shaft that is unbelievable deep! Highly recommend!!!

“Very deep!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

Kids got a kick out of this, and the drive though the mountain switch backs, and walking around Jerome. Good to show them what mining was like.

“Cool old mining stuff”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

Worth going to and looking at for 10 minutes on your way to Douglas House museum. Interesting old mining gear. Top of 1900 foot shaft.

“Educational Gem”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

I have been to Jerome many times. This is the first time I remember stopping at Audrey Heaframe Park. Reading the signs was very educational and the kids enjoyed looking down the shaft which is safely capped.
