“Yes, it once was a real bordello!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Like many buildings in Jerome, this once was a bordello. As an old west mining town, Jerome had more than its share of saloons and bordellos. This little restaurant is fairly new. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Give it a try!

“Extraordinary offerings”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Love the food the most. Interesting, delicious, well-prepared and in large amounts. Staff is always great and the rock-and-roll atmosphere fun. And yet we never have to wait for a table. Perhaps people don't walk the few more steps down the hill to notice it's here. Lucky us! As residents, we often bring friends.

“Great unexpected surprise!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Having been guided to the Flat Iron restaurant by the helpful visitor center guide, this vegan adventurer was dismayed to find the restaurant closed. As we wondered aloud what to do next, the chef at the next place over was outside, and I asked if he could recommend a place. He invited us in to The Bordello of Jerome, a funky, cool bar and grill. It's very small, has really interesting décor, and a vast menu. All the food is "bordello-themed" in their titles, so I ordered the Red Light Bowl, a gorgeous salad of baby greens topped with red pepper hummus, marinated red peppers, olives, avocado and red quinoa, dressed with a perfect balsamic reduction and garnished with grilled pita bread and artfully placed drizzle of more dressing. Wow--this was so gourmet and delicious, not to mention beautifully presented--I was so surprised to find so many good choices for vegans and omnivores alike.
My husband had a wonderful Angus burger cooked exactly as ordered and some of the best steak fries ever. Yum.
As it was midafternoon, we had the place to ourselves, and it felt like a special private meal specially prepared just for us. Try this place out next time you're in Jerome. We'll be back!
