As other reviews have mentioned, the attention to detail at Aquavit is evident in each and every room. The architecture of the home, the art work and the furnishings are stunning. A comfortable bed and a shower with good water pressure are always important to us, especially after a long drive - we would rank both 5 star. The pool was a pleasant surprise as it was larger than the other B&Bs we have stayed at - beautiful setting and the water temperature was just right - comfortable to get into but still refreshing.
Ole and Linda were attentive and had great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Breakfast was served on the upper deck and both the view and the food were wonderful. We stayed at Aquavit for 3 days and would have liked to stay longer.
The location was very convenient for our day time exploring and for dinners. We visited Storm River Mouth for a hike on Ole and Linda's suggestion and loved it. Dinner at Zinzi was really nice - very good food and lovely ambience at night. The meal was also reasonably priced.
This was a first visit to Aquavit but it will not be our last.More
