The safari took 2hours and our guide was very knowledgable. We saw plenty of deer, giraffe, rhino, hippo lions and cheetahs. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon

I didn't realise we would be able to get so close to all the animals.the guide was well informed and really knew how to get the best out of the 2hour drive. Worth a visit

We stayed,4 adults, at the Baroness lodge for 3 days in November. Our package included bed&breakfast, dinner and a drive daily.
We had the most amazing time here, lovely accommodation, wonderful food, breathtaking scenery and fabulous staff.
The lodge is really informal.perfect for relaxing and meeting fellow guests,we met some lovely people from different parts of the world.
The food is wonderful home cooked fare,no menu, you just get whats on the menu that day,but you wont be disappointed.A good selection of wines to wash your dinner down with too !!
Rooms are lovely, and spotless,my only niggle was they are quite dull of an evening when getting ready, but hey your in Africa so relax.
this was our first game experience so the drives suited us,we saw springbox, hippos, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs and crocodiles(yeah really) they're adopted!! the lions, cheetahs and wild dogs are in enormous pens for the other animals(and our)safety but like I said,it was our first drive so we were ok with this.
Close by is the monkey and elephant sanctuary, worth a visit.
I really cant recommend this lodge enough, all I can say is we will certainly be back.

The 2 hour game drive packed in a number of animals. The highlights were giraffe, rhino, cheetah, lion, water buffalo, where we got very close to these animals. The guide explained the animals in the park and was very knowledgable about them. The size of the park restricts the number of lions to 2 but you get really close to them. The rhinos were heartbreaking that the park has had to cut their horns to protect them from poachers. A good family attraction. It may be on the small side but for someone from the UK this was a new experience and we'll worth it.

this place was a perfect find - we stayed there for 2 nights and whilst it was not your typical plettenburg bay beach holiday I would highly recommend it for a few nights before your beach holiday begins or for a holiday in the colder months. The house was great, thoughtful, huge tables so that the whole group could eat together (we were a party of 10 with ages ranging from 6 to over 50). There was a table on the porch and one up by the pool, normal braai facilities and a gas braai. The guides and assistants (Eddie and Blessings) were great - they made sure we were comfortable, took us on a gorgeous walk where we walked with the giraffes which was fantastic and showed us birds and trees. we felt so relaxed after the few days and will definitely go again
