Description: Nguni Restaurant Nostalgic with an African flair, Nguni is located in one of Plett's oldest buildings - an original dairy dating back over a hundred years. Nguni's African menu is a reflection of traditional selections like Bobotie, game, biltong, springbok, Karoo lamb, ostrich and other local favourites. With its beautiful sunny veranda or eclectic African interior with its original wood-burning stove, the Nguni Girls provide customers with a unique setting and superb menu. A true taste of the Cape!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nguni during our stay in Plettenburg Bay. Great service, relaxed atmosphere and yummy food! The Nguni steak was amazing and not be to missed, overall fantastic value for money and well worth a visit!

We wanted a light lunch of quality. What a delightful visit to Nguni The waiter was classy and really on the ball. We opted for their Chicken Pie and salad. It was a pie with a difference -the chicken was in phyllo pastry. It was incredibly tasty and moreish. We will certainly be back

On a side street off Main Street Nguni could easily be missed but this great little restaurant really punches above it's weight in terms of food and service. We sat next to the log burning cooking range and enjoyed a bush metze shared as a starter and then game steak (springbok aged) and beef steak both absolutely delicious. Cheese followed. A Cabernet Merlot accompanied and coffee followed. All served by helpful waiting staff (thank you Robert). Don't miss if you are staying in Plett.

Went here with friends who went especially for the Oxtail and we were not disappointed. For starts we had the spring rolls which I can recommend. The restaurant is in an old building and has an "old South African " decor and atmosphere. Highly recommended

lovely food, excellent service, and great to try some typical south African food. The biltong salad and the springbok steak were delicious. This was one of the best meals of our trip.
