“Good pizza!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is known for good pizza and our pizzas were just that. I didn't particularly like the amount of blue cheese on the blue cheese and pear pizza - not quite right but that's my taste. Otherwise lovely. Down points: temp waitress needs training! Waited a long time for our pizzas. Bill went back three times for mistakes. They ran out of red wine!!! And small thing.. Sofa style seating needs a pillow backing. My small kids kept bumping their heads on concrete :( but overall good.

“A revamp to be reckoned with”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Cornuti was always high up on our list of must-eats in Plett, but after a 2 year gap was surprised to hear from friends that it had fallen from favour. We popped in for a lunch in march 14 to find that it was undergoing major renovations which did not intefere in anyway with the delicious meal we were served. Being fortunate enough to be in Plett again in june we had a late lunch at which time the renovations were practically finished. The new window area which folds away in the summer time looks out over the ocean and gives one a real sea feel. The food was particularly good whilst the service matched it perfectly.I can't say why the place lost favour as I never had a poor experience there, although as I say we weren't in Plett for 2 years. How ever its back to its former glory and anyone visiting Plett would be doing themselves a disservice by not trying it out. It is especially convenient for those staying at the Beacon Isle hotel as it is just up the road with plenty of street parking. I must admit that going out at night in Plett to out of town restaurants is a daunting task due to dark roads and many pedestrians, which makes Cornuti and the mid town eateries all the more desirable.

“Awesome pizza ”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed the cosy atmosphere during a winters evening. The Brie pizza with cranberry preserve is delicious and I would come back only for that! Authentic and good ambience.

“Vastly improved thanks to new Manager Vernon.”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Vernon emailed Ray and I to let us know that he has joined Cornuti and wanted us to try it so we went on yesterday and were not disappointed - we were a little apprehensive as it has not been a good experience there in the last couple of years - shouldn't have worried really as Vernon always has been a brilliant front of house!

They have got rid of the awful dated furniture and replaced it with a more uptodate style of tables and chairs with a fab new area with cushions etc for people waiting for takeaways or a table in busy times.

We tried the new starters - Ray had tentacles of some description and I tried their Parmiagana which was probably the best that I have had outside of Italy or my own kitchen - well done guys. The pizzas were fantastic as usual.

Vernon is offering 20% off the bill for locals and guest house owners - so guys give them a try - with good food and wine and a brilliant view like that you have got nothing to lose!

Well done to the chef, our lovely waiter and of course Vernon as Cornuti's will only be on the UP from now.

“Great Italian food in a great setting”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

While the view is nothing great, the ambience within is excellent. Service is is super quick, and friendly. They are very child friendly. Food tasted great and there is a wonderful selection of gelatos made locally.
