The seal pups were a delight and as part of a small group of 6 we were able to get close without worrying the seals in the slightest. Half an hour flies by in the presence of these water acrobats - just remember not to inhale water as you laugh. Water was a pleasant 18degrees and 3 mm wet suits are provided. Remember to take your own towel / change of clothes. Nice to see animals that are not captive interacting with us and having what looks like fun.

This was such a terrific experience and the trip was an adventure from start to finish.

We took a rib boat out to Robberg Island which took about 15 minutes and when we got there we jumped in to the water and got to snorkel with hundreds of seals which was such a fantastic experience. We saw small 3 month old pups swimming around and they took great pleasure in chewing my flipper which was very cute. The seals kept looking at their reflection in my mask and undulated around me which was such an incredible experience and they were all so playful and not aggressive at all. All around you could see hundreds of seal on the rocks or floating in the sea with their fins sticking out of the water which was so amazing.

The visibility was about 4 metres and the guide Monica took lots of great photos so I recommend you buy the CD at the end of the trip as she took lots of pictures of each person on the trip with the seals as well as of the seals in the water which came out so clearly.

After 30 minutes in the water we jumped back on the boat and headed back to the shore. Close to the shore we have an exhilarating landing on the beach as the boat speeds towards the shore and bumps on to the beach which gets the adrenalin going and is terrific fun. I loved this trip and had such a great time in the water with the seals - well worth doing.

We went with our 2 children aged 9 & 7 and all of us had a fantastic experience. The guides looked after the children brilliantly and the kids were amazed at being in the water with the seals and also really enjoyed the boat ride out to the colony. As the kids were being so well looked after it allowed the grown ups to really make the most of the experience which is incredible. We were lucky enough to be in the water with pups who were learning to swim, who were really inquisitive and playful. Altogether a truly memorable experience. Thank you Monica and the team

It's possible to swim with about a thousand seals. It's a very nice experience. I recommend. The seals are very friendly, it's possivel to get very very close of them.
