We popped in for breakfast on the second last morning of our trip... and went back the following morning as well one last time before returning home!!

The decor is arty and funky, the service fast and friendly and the food was really delicious with big portions - very good value for money.
It's situated in an art and craft village with mohair products and lots of art, clothes and jewellery. You can also feed the goats ;) We are thrilled we found this cafe and will return in September to try some further options from the menu! The coffee is also great, fresh and not overly strong which I often find with filter coffee. If I can manage a second cup then it's perfect!

The Peppermill Cafe is ideally situated, because one can visit the Porcupine Raku Firing Centre, shop for mohair, or feed the angora goats. There are also several other craft establishments within a few metres. So we stopped there for lunch. What a treat! The food was amazing. There were fourteen of us in the group, and the friendly and efficient staff handled us flawlessly. The owner personally greeted us, and made sure that we were comfortable and happy.
The food is very reasonably priced, and so when it arrived, we were unexpectedly delighted! Great care is taken on the presentation, and the flavours are unusual and superb. The menu offers a wide variety of beautifully prepared food, and includes several vegetarian options. Interesting flavours are combined in imaginative ways. There was not one person in the group who had a single complaint. In fact, if it had been possible, we would have returned the very next day. Certainly worth a visit, and if you are lucky enough to be in the area for longer than a day visit, plan to make this restaurant, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating, your regular place. You will be delighted!

Nice outdoor seating, chill vibe. Had breakfast and lunch here during our stopover in Plettenburg. All of the dishes are fresh and flavorful. Claude, our server was so nice and helpful with making recommendations. The veggie burger is a very unique and yummy choice. Be sure to check out the Porcupine Factory next door to see hand crafted goods.

This was my second visit, and I will be back for more!. The service is good, the food absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere excellent.
The burgers has to be some of the best I have ever had.
The place is kids friendly, and if you have little ones, the are going to love feeding the goats.
A must for all people with and without kids.
