“No guided tours”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Without the experience of a guided tour with someone explaining each bird, its characteristics we fail to appreciate the magnificience of the birds
The aviary is good but to get maximum benefit guided tours is a must similar to monkey land

“Fabulous forest”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Stepped out of the reception into a huge open forest filled with all sorts of birds. The kids loved it, although with 5 year old twins its quite hard to get them to slow down and concentrate on looking for the birds (and other creatures) in the forest. The best thing to do (if you can) is take it slowly and stay still, you'll soon start to see the birds. I loved the golden pheasants particularly.

“An amazing variety of birds”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Huge space under netting so that the birds can fly around naturally - it doesn't feel like a zoo. Well constructed so there are different areas and different views as you walk through. Great variety of colourful birds, many close up.
