Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Lush coastal forest and grassland is home to vast herds of African game, including White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok, Lechwe and many more species. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings. This owner operated animal friendly park, where no hunting or other disturbance of the game is permitted, means that you always get close up views and great photo opportunities. Take a drive in your own vehicle through the park on the well-maintained roads and enjoy viewing the game in any weather conditions from the comfort of your car. For those really close encounters, choose the 2 hour guided tour in an open Landrover with a professional guide providing you with interesting information on the animals and the historical background to the area.

Took my children for a weekend away and enjoyed the game drive and compact nature reserve, also close to a mini golf course which was thoroughly enjoyed by the boys. The chalet well equipped and clean. Amazining to expereince a ostrich popping her head through our bedroom window.

“Very nice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013

We did this the day after Addo Elephant Park, so I was concerned that it would pale in comparison. It didn't. It was very different and had many animals that Addo didn't. The roads were not paved and very hilly so that lead to an almost 4x4 experience and the suspense of not knowing what was around the corner. We saw plenty of game.

The park is easily accessible from all arrival points which is a feature for Port Elizabeth. It is also well maintained. Animals are easily viewed and the park is safe.Accommodation is comfortable and reasonably priced If you like to be in contact with animals this facility is also there. Catering is also comfortable and inexpensive and palatable.
