It was wonderful accomodation. From the start my godson and I were made to feel at home. There was help offered, unasked, to solve any problem that might arise and that in the final hectic weekend of the World Cup! The accomodation is situated directly on the sea with beautiful coastal views. It was great for a 12-year old who was away from his family for the first time for such a length of time. That's why it was all the more important to be made to feel so at home. A delightful experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a chance for an individual holiday.

Seanotes was the best way to finish our South African holiday along the Garden Route. We So enjoyed just chilling out and looking at the fabulous view from the bedroom window, and the terrace. We managed to see dophins, whales, but missed out on seeing the otters. Robyn and the dogs Macushla, Lulu and Toto made us feel so welcome, Nothing was too much trouble for Robyn.
Seanotes is an ideal place to explore the area between Jeffreys Bay and PE, with Seaview being one of the highlights with plenty to do on the doorstep and some wonderful beaches.
We are looking forward to a return visit in the future.

My husband & I have just stayed with Robyn at Seanotes in Seaview, a self catering guest house situated a very convenient 12 minute drive outside Port Elizabeth towards The Garden Route. We were allocated the very private cottage Seaweed, which comprises 2 bedrooms, an open plan lounge/ dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Full DSTV coverage is available at an additional cost. There is a verandah along the full length of the cottage with braai facilities at the one end.
Having ourselves just gone through a long and busy hospitality season, we were looking for somewhere that offered pure relaxaion and great comfort, with the added advantage of a sea view. We could not have chosen better.!The 5 metre waves, on the day of our arrival ,crashing directly in front of us, as there is no road between the cottage and the coast, were awesome. This is a sea view to revel in. At low tide, the rock pools in front of your cottage are a sheer delight.Add to this mix, the quietly efficiently attention of Robyn and the companionship of 3 very well behaved yet characterful dogs, and what more could one ask for?A small supermarket just a few minutes drive from the cottage & a restaurant a walk away ,are added conveniences.Sleeping with the sound of the waves quietly lapping on your doorstep was also comforting.
Seanotes will continue to be the place we break away to when our spirits need reviving!
Thank you Robyn for making our much needed break truly memorable. We will be back often!

This year was the fourth time my husband and I have stayed at Sea Notes. We travel from the U.K. each year to escape the winter and find at Sea Notes everything that we are looking for. The hostess, Robyn, is a charming person. Sea Notes has 3 units of differing price and offering Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering. We like the bungalow on the lawn which can in fact sleep 6. The kitchen is well equipped even to a dish washer and although there is no washing machine any laundry can be done in house. If you do not want to self cater but like the space Robyn will make your breakfast and the restaurant 200 mts down the road does a lovely lunch and dinner. The view from the front is over the sea which is only at the end of the lawn. Here the dolphins come to entertain you or you may see the family of otters. Robyn has 3 dogs all of them are very friendly and may pay you a visit, but if you don't want them just tell them so and off they go. You park your car on the side lawn. Sea Notes is half an hour from Port Elizabeth and close to Addo Elephant Park. Kragga Kamma wild life park is just up the road. It makes a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy what the area has to offer.
