“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013

I am so glad that we were able to find Zareba! The house is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the back cottage and it was truly a treat! The location is absolutely amazing. You are only a short walk from a street filled with wonderful restaurants and bars. The neighborhood was extremely safe and we had no problems. Cathy (the owner) is an absolute sweetheart and was able to help us out with anything we needed! Definitely stay here if you have the opportunity!

A last minute decision to go and watch the Proteas play New Zealand in Port Elizabeth meant we had accommodation to find at VERY short notice! Zareba B&B Guesthouse was one of the first places we came across on SA Venues and was exactly what we were looking for. It is just a 10 minute walk from St George's Park (Cricket ground), 10 minute drive from the airport, 10 minute drive to the beach front and just a 5 minute walk to a whole street full of wonderful restaurants and places to have a drink in the evening. Perfect location in my eyes!
Cathy, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed (cooler box, beach towels, ice, etc), and cooked a very tasty full English breakfast, with the option of yoghurt, cereals and fresh fruit too.
All in all, a wonderful stay and we would definitely return there next time.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a three night stay B&B, nearby st Georges Cricket Stadium to watch the S.A. vs New Zealand test. Our stay at Zareba was fantastic!

Cathy, the owner was only always willing to accommodate us and help us in any way possible. She even went to the extent to try and get everything we needed to make our time at st Georges as pleasant as possible (umbrellas, cooler bags, ice, beach towels etc.) The upstairs room was perfect for what we needed and the bathroom was really nicely designed and kept too.

Cathy's breakfasts were a treat and well worthwhile, she even accommodated our special dietry needs too.

I highly recommend Zareba B&B Guesthouse!

Had to find a b&b with off street parking near Stanley street Richmond Hill in PE for one night only during a long weekend. From the start Cathy the owner was helpfull by replying immediately via email to all my enquiries. On arrival she sorted out the parking - room inside an old house was clean with all the necessary amenities - bathroom was huge with a bathroom and shower - had a luke warm shower for which she apologises the next morning because she forgot to switch on the geyser. Breakfast is served in an open plan area - you can see her making the food - it was usual - atnosphere was very relaxing. Nearby is 'the place' to be in PE. Can recommend this B&B for a short stay.
