Gorgeous pastas made on the premiss and delicious desserts, with good wine, all available by the glass, and attentive, friendly service. We couldn't fault it!

We always have our academic meetings here and I'm always impressed by the menu. Ask the chef to do a special wine pairing with the dish, really worth it. Also great thin based pizza / flat breads. Also a shop with lovely little nick knacks.

Fantastic pizzas served by friendly and attentive staff (there is even a separate waiter just to take care of your drinks orders and make sure you don't get thirsty).

This restaurant is unassuming on the outside, but the owner Joel seems to make a big effort to personally attend to each and every guest there. This was probably the best pizza I've had in South Africa - very unexpected in a relatively small city like Port Elizabeth!

Its comonly referred to as ''Wickerwoods'', but actually it trades as ''Mangiamo'', and therein lies the essence of the place: Pizza and pasta with an upmarket slant. Yes, it is a little on the pricey side, but not shockingly so. You get really good pizza and pasta, and a decent choice of other dishes, too. Great wine selection. The food is consistently good, and often excelent. Service is very good. Ambience is casual, with a sort of shabby chic feel to it. Diners are never rushed, and Joel, the owner and head chef, is a really genuine kind of guy. There are places with more interesting food, but nevertheless, this spot is definitely worth more than one visit.

I have been a few times and have enjoyed the restaurant, but find it very expensive for what is offered. They also have combined the pizzeria part with the formal dining which is a little odd - one of your party can have lamb shank and the others are eating pizza.
