Kayenta Monument Valley Inn

The room was clean and comfortable. However, for $179, I expect the air conditioner to work. The thermostat was set at 40 and the room temp was closer to 80. If the temp was changed, the AC went off..... It was much cooler than outside, but would have preferred 74 or so. Also for this price, you'd think we would be offered a continental breakfast, but on check-in we were specifically told no food for this room. Unfortunately not many options for hotels in this part of the world.

We stayed at this inn for a single night since we are on a trip to monument valley and the antelope canyon . My room was nice , beds are comfortable, aircon temp was good, and TV has adequate channels . The bathroom however was quite small. You can park your vehicle just outside the room and we were fortunate enough to have a room in the first level . i had a steak dinner in their main restaurant , and it was good. The wait staff were attentive and acted professional. There is a small souvenir shop and convenience store within the same complex . Please be reminded that basic needs are served within the complex itself, and it is not a deluxe hotel or something, so don't expect too much .

This is a hotel where the little things surprise you. The linens and bedding were really very nice as was the room size and layout. The same was true of the dining room experience where everything was fresh, tasty, with
plentiful portions. Staff too was extremely pleasant. It is a reminder that
location and size of a town does not necessarily create a lower standard.

Hotel is overpriced. (over 200 $ a night) It’s one of the hotels nearby the Navajo Monument Valley. It seems that the rooms are renovated. But in a cheap way. Fe: Paint in the bathroom was coming of the sealing. Also a fridge was missing in the room. Rooms are clean and tidy.
It seems that the lady at the reception had a bad night, although it was late in the afternoon we checked in. She is the most unfriendly receptionist I have ever met. The other receptionist was helpful and friendly.
If you are able to book another hotel outsite Kayenta this should be beter.

Considering this is just a motel, it was very expensive. We needed 1 night here to be able to go to monument valley and it cost about £200 for 1 night which is rather ludicrous. I think they cash in on that fact and I suppose we did pay it but it's still something that needs to be mentioned in the review.

Aside from that, this is a nice motel - rooms were large and comfortable.

Monument valley itself is stunning and should not be missed. Staying near by has limited choice and the monument valley inn is probably one of the best places locally.
The front desk staff were friendly and ensured that they gave us the type of room requested. The room itself was clean, large and comfortable.
we ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were ok and quite good value. It should be noted that this inn is in the Navajo reservation and as such no alcohol was served at dinner.
