I stayed at the Walton Manor for quite some time. It was a nice place. They're some restaurants and a mall within walking distance, and it was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The price was right, too. Lana was easy to work with. The breakfast was delicious. I had a good stay.

Room Tip: Rooms near the server have the best Wifi signal.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It is a quiet, stylish mansion tucked away on a shady street in Melville, the hip (and safe) quarter of Johannesburg. The rooms are huge, with king sized beds and crip high quality linens, enormous private bath. I was really surprised my room and breakfast cost 550 Rand (about $60 US). It feels like it should be $200 US a night. Pool, lovely garden and private, secure parking. Reminded me of a cute B n B in the Sonoma Valley, California, where I'm from - such a similar vibe. The breakfast was fabulous: fresh fruit and juices, omelettes, muffins. It's pretty hard to find an oasis in Johannesburg but this one is it! Proprietor Lana Louw is extremely helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend this place.
