Anyone who has even a passing interest in history, politics, or South Africa could spend hours at this world class museum. The temporary exhibition on Mandela is also phenomenal. Do not leave Joburg without experiencing this world-class museum.

Everything! Inspiring to be able to enter into the home where Mr. Mandela lived with his then wife, Winnie Mandela!

Even if you think you don't "need to", a visit to the Apartheid Museum is a must if you go to Johannesburg. Extremely well done.

Well thought out museum narrating the history and abolishment of apartheid and the history of Nelson Mandela. Actually learned alot about JoBurg, apartheid and Mandela. If I had one thing to do in JoBurg, it would be this museum.
