We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary with "serenity package". Our first and last experience with Rosebank Life Day Spa. It seem to generate the same complaints as what we have, from the day it opened doors, hence I is hopeless as nothing changed since. In addition to lack of basics like gowns and towels, they reuse their slippers! Due to the disturbing lack of coordination, we found ourselves in the reception are shivering and wet after having to jump out of so called "resort facility" which seems to be malfunctioning since lady year. Cold benches, slow steam in the Ice-cold chamber, where you have to dry scrub until you get showered with Ice-cold tropical rain. No towels on exit.....The reception blamed everyone from plumber to Escom, as we care why it does not work. Following this shocker we were told to relax up the flight of stairs in the public waiting area, and to fill the forms for treatments to come. Finally we checked into our executive suit comprising massage benches and a bath, but no toilets, for which we had to go back flight of stairs, pass 2 public areas including a coffee shop. While massaged, the therapists are focusing on selling you bodycare products by constantly telling you that your skin is dehydrated, wrinkled and sun damaged. For goodness sake, we were trying to get warm and relax. Needless to say, but what a horrible experience it was.
