“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 1 May 2014 via mobile

Really fantastic exhibition centre - kids loved it so much we had to come twice in the holidays. So much to see and so informative- from a blow up planetarium, live science lab demo, and a fantastic building site where they can build(and demolish) walls. Parents have as much fun as the kids (mine are 4 and 6) and you are also able to get a good cup of coffee!

“Brilliant Day Out”
Reviewed 27 April 2014 via mobile

In search of something different to do, we took our two girls (aged 1 and 3) here. I think we'd always been hesitant owing to the location (in the city), but are so glad we took the trouble to visit! Parking was in front of the centre (free), and was access controlled by security.

Entrance fee was ridiculously affordable with under-3 being free. The exhibits are fun and interactive. On arrival we took part in a crystal hunt which sent us on a search throughout the Centre for answers to 7 clues. At the end,the girls each got a little science experiment kit where they could make salt, sugar and borax crystals at home. They loved it!

We spent almost 6 hours going from one level to the next exploring everything (more superficially since girls are quite young, but they still enjoyed it). Their favorite part was the foam brick/cement construction area where you could don your hard-hat, put in your reflective coat and turn into Bob The Builder. :) There were mini wheel barrows, pullies to get the "bricks" to the upper level and an assortment of conveyors that they could operate with levers and wheels. Even we built a wall or two!

The chance to navigate a little mapped out path on a Segway was also pretty cool.

Great day out - highly recommend taking the time to go.

“A great day out and worth a visit”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

The sci bono discovery centre is def worth a visit. Esp with kids older than 6 years. Not recommended for kids younger than 6. It has lotsa interactive games and informative props. Our kids LCD the experience. The coffee shop can improve its selection. However we didn't go there to eat but rather to explore. Great experience. Will def go back.

“Great for Kids of all ages (Even the "old" ones)”
Reviewed 3 February 2014

We have been here a few times - usually for Kids birthday Parties and every time we find something different that keeps us and the kids occupied.
