This is an affordable fun and educational place for kids of most ages. The prices are very affordable and the cafeteria is basic and very affordable which is hard to find these days. The staff are helpful, friendly and great with kids. Steven was BRILLIANT with the special shark dissecting . It was VERY funny and extremely educational! What a pleasant show. The kids also attended a lab experiment which was interesting but not too well prepared! There are so many things to see, so it is a place that one can visit numerous times without getting bored.

The kids love the science exhibits here and could stay for ages. They have managed to get a lot of sponsorship e.g. Murray & Roberts have sponsored a big building area with foam bricks and cement, conveyer belts and cranes and Eskom sponsored a big electricity section. This means the prices are super cheap. Don't expect fancy - the place is a big warehouse and can be cold, and the cafeteria is very basic. But it really is good clean fun. Kids parties there are also a win, as they have a party room and the kids have the run of the exhibitions with a guide to show them around and a science show to end it off - also super cheap.

Sci-Bono is a wonderful place for children of all ages. Their policy of "please touch everything" is absolutely great and inspires children to learn.

A must visit for the enquiring mind.

Amazing morning or afternoon fun for kids. The building area where kids can play with rubber bricks, building conveying systems, pulleys and wheelbarrows can keep kids busy for hours.

The electricity section allowed kids to experiment with several wiring stations. Sound systems, the Lego and Dinosoar area and all the other experimental stations were amazing. Well worth a visit!!

They even demonstrated making ice cream using liquid hydrogen and served the kids and parents to an ice cream treat!!
