This is one of central Johannesburg's lovely parks worth visiting. Beautiful views, wonderful undulating walking paths and even has security.

“Walking and Jogging”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

A great place to relax and jog,
The park is pretty bug and quiet most of the time.
Also a good place to walk the dogs

“Nice park for a picnic”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

It is a nice park for kicking a ball, or having a picnic.

The lower part near Acrobranch has no security or play equipment, but across the stream on the higher ground there is decent parking, a tiny and good playground for very young kids and a smallish one for older kids. There is usually some private security vehicles parked it he parking lot which does give once a sense of safety.

It is doggy haven, but unfortunately we apparently don't have a culture of cleaning up after our dogs in Johannesburg, so the lawn is littered with smelly 'land mines'.

The views from the high ground are superb, and overall it is a great park.

“Once beautiful”
Reviewed 9 May 2013

Beautiful park. Not well maintained. There is a man made stream running through the park which flows down over rocks into a pond. It no longer works which is unfortuneate.

“One of Joburg's Best Parks”
Reviewed 16 April 2013

This park is lovely on weekends, full of families with dogs and kids playing soccer or cricket. The park is also located close to a restaurant and coffee shop so it is perfect for a pre or post meal stroll. In October/November you will see the urban forest at its best when the jacarandas are in full bloom.
