This hotel will be either great or not so great, depending on how and who you are traveling with.
Things to be aware of (at least for our room...others can chime in with variations).
-Door to bathroom and toilet is a glass, sliding, surface-mount door. This means the person sitting on the toilet is right in plain view of the room and sounds/smells are not confined to a private space. Might be weird for many people that like privacy.
-Shower has semi-transparent glass 2/3 height window straight to the room. Great if you are married, might be weird if traveling with a friend.
Rooms are in narrow hallways with narrow doors. not easy to navigate and not fresh/modern feeling at all. Rooms themselves are attempting a modern feel with an exposed brick wall and funky sinks/faucets and shower. Shower has glass wall and no door with a ceiling "rain shower" faucet that will get the bathroom floor wet quickly (not well thought out in design).
Buffet is actually very good. Surprised at how fresh and well cooked everything was. This is comparable to (or better) than the Holiday Inn Express I stayed in in SA as well. Seating area is more cafeteria style, but people are usually friendly as they are on holiday often.
With free shuttle to the airport, the value is hard to beat. I will probably stay again, but wouldn't if I was traveling with one of my kids or a friend...the rooms would be just weird.
