The manor is in a pretty spot with an adjoining rose farm and looks out over the valley. It is, however, still quite close to neighbours and there is some resulting noise.
The rooms were nice and the owner-managers were kind enough to upgrade us at no charge as they had space in the larger units.
However, there was no milk in the kitchen for making tea and coffee, the bathroom hadn't been properly re-stocked and one of the verandah doors wouldn't open. The greatest problem, though, were the six dogs. I am nervous of dogs and while my husband is not, he also did not approve of them being allowed to roam freely through the breakfast room and the kitchen. So, if this sort of thing bothers you, I wouldn't recommend it. If it doesn't, then you'll probably have a pleasant stay.More
