Spent a sunday afternoon there with a picnic that was setup along the riverside which sounds picturesque but in reality was just average esp in the winter time with lots of dust and dryness. Food basket was plentiful but not of the greatest quality - tough chewy lamb kebabs, weird noodle-stuffed oily spring rolls, dry sausage rolls, over-cooked quiche and stale donuts though the bread rolls, butter and cheeses was yummy. There was also barbecued chicken, cold-meats, pate and dessert that included fruit skewers, choc brownies and shortbread that were just ok. Waiter was present when needed but otherwise unobtrusive, which was great. Perhaps would be better in Summer once everything is green and lush again.
