“Serenity in centre of Claremont”

My room at The Vineyard was perfection at this rate. The room and bathroom were spacious and everything I required were provided except for a powerful hair dryer. I have stayed at Angsana hotels in the past and the only other recommendation I can make is to add some bath salts to the toiletries to remind one that you are staying at a property with a decent spa.

I had dinner at the restaurant and although the portion sizes were very small the food was tasty. I placed an order with room service on the sercond night and the chicken pieces in the ceasar salad were very cold and lacked flavour.

The service at this hotel is excellent and you will not be disappointed with the breakfast.

Value for money and a beautiful garden setting - I enjoyed my stay!

The Vineyard oozes relaxation, charm, friendliness and welcome in equal amounts from the moment one steps into the lobby. Cool high ceiling end rooms, great comfort and excellent service within to which is added a glorious garden with amazing views that are a far cry from the usual cityscape.

The food is high quality and breakfast or afternoon tea on the terrace not to be missed.

It is worth booking a room with a garden view, though the sound of frogs lull one to sleep if facing a courtyard.

Cape Grace and the other hotels at the front are very good, however to the Vineyard is a tranquil experience not to be missed.

I stayed four nights here and the service was second to none, the room beyond reproach and the food in the restaurant excellent.

This is how hotels should be run. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Simply excellent.

The Vineyard is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travel - this was our third visit. The hotel is well-positioned in Cape Town, with spectacular views of Table Mountain, surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens along the Liesbeek River. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are modern, comfortable and well-appointed. The restaurants are good, and the hotel also has a variety of interesting artworks on display. The outdoor terrace is a great place to enjoy a meal while soaking up the ambience of the idyllic setting. Keep an eye open for the large tortoises which roam the gardens, a favourite attraction for children!

Room Tip: The courtyard-facing rooms have views of beautiful ponds and water-features, and are a good choice i...

Set in the suburbs the hotel has extensive grounds with lovely mountain views. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Go for the rooms overlooking the mountain - the view is much nicer than those overlooking the courtyard garden. Easy walk to Cavendish Shopping Centre. If you are a family splash out on the enormous garden cottages.

We attended a food and wine appreciation evening hosted with Creation wines. The kitchen provided a super 5 course meal served with excellent Creation wines. The venue is centrally situated in Cape Town and the hotel provides excellent accommodation. We stayed in a modern double room overlooking the garden and mountain. The room was comfortable with bath and shower. The breakfast served in the dining room and garden was excellent. You have the option of ordering from the kitchen or helping yourselt from the buffet. We selected the buffet which was excellent.
A good stay well recommended

The friendliest hotel in Cape Town everyone here makes us feel extremely welcome on arrival every time we visit! So great for families and also fine for business visits to Cape Town. Located the "far side" of Table Mountain there are fantastic views of this mountain and this side everything is green and lush. Garden is very nice with three to four tortoises to entertain you. Food is excellent and there is a lovely outside terrace. Rooms are very comfortable and functional. The staff are the best!
