Friday evening dinner. We chose to sit in the main restaurant as opposed to the several private rooms on offer.
The wine menu is comprehensive and many of the South African greats appear. If anything there are not to many wines on the more affordable category but life is to short to drink cheap wine anyway...
The specials offered were interesting and not what you find at every restaurant. The steak tatare, lamb kidneys and biltong and mushroom soup were all very good and ranged in price from R 50 - R80 per plate. Mains were very good. The pork ribs were lovely and messy and I would recommend them. Mains ranged in Price from R100 - R160 per plate.
All in all a lovely dining experience, good to see one of the old established restaurants in Pretoria still maintaining high standards.
