We were invited by friends to share in their 70th birthday celebration. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. The food was very good and the desserts were to die for!! Thoroughy enjoyable and will certainly visit again. The only complaint is that there is no paring available from Aries street (parking on the pavement) and only once inside were told about the parking from the Delphinius street entrance

I was treated to Brasserie de Paris for my birthday this year and it was a real treat. French Onion Soup was very good (but le Souffle in Fourways is better), shared Chateaubriand as a main was more than sufficient and done to perfection for a fillet. Wine selection is extensive but not intimidating (except for some prices). Remember to leave space for the dessert. The service was good but the waiter was rather quiet and a bit unsure of himself at times. An intimate restaurant and a nice change from the usual dining experience.

We were there on two evenings, once just as a couple trying their menu de degustation including the recommended wine selection and once as a part of a group with a set dinner. Overall good quality French-style food with mostly South African wines. During the winter months heating is only partly effective, and some guests wore a coat during dinner.

superb ambience - classically modern residence with restaurant. great service. had the 5 course meal - each course was perfection but miniscule. great for ladies, but men will starve... but as I say, the perfect treat for a lady. thanks to my two good friends that treated me to this delight!!

On the eve of winter 2014, we had the most WONDERFUL dinner at Brasserie de paris. Accommodating, friendly staff and of course exceptional food. Dished out a hefty R360 for the set menu. Worth every penny. If you do visit, notice the beautiful architecture of the house. 5 star all the way
