Having been frightened by tales of how dangerous Johannesburg can be, this hotel was a great find. It is virtually opposite the entrance to The Gautrain Station and train connection to the airport.. The position of the hotel plus helpful, friendly staff made it ideal.

We booked a Junior Suite for 5 nights for $20800 Rand. On checking in they put us in a Business Class room which was much smaller. When we checked out they charged us almost $25000 Rand - their reason was the rate was based on availability!!! We were never advised this and how could it be more than the suite? We queried this but they kept repeating the same answer. It was such a terrible ending to a nice relaxing break. We contacted hotel again when we got back to NZ regarding this but yo date have had no response. Very disappointed. Will not recommend or be staying there again and we make frequent trips to South Africa.

Business Trip / Crew of 5: I travel regularly on business and this was one of the best hotels and hotel values I have stayed in. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Good internet access (free) Staff on every occasion (front desk, restaurant, lounge, transportation) were excellent. Breakfast is very good, brilliant dinner menu and presentation. The location allows walking to many good restaurants and shopping. Right across the road from the Gautrain making getting to airport and other locations super easy, fast and cheap. Taxi stand across the street. The 5 of us, over a 10 - 14 day period, really had no issues.

I stay here a lot as our JB office is metres away.
For what i need it for it ticks most of the boxes, clean, well organised, good staff, great beds, business class rooms are a good size
The gym is...............ok, and the pool is literally a splash pool. But they are only gripes i have about what is other wise a great little hotel

I spent a week at Gautrain for business purpose.The 2 Radisson Blu hotels within a few minutes of each other are both very comfortable, have great food and great staff. The Train station is very convenient for connection to the airport, very comfortable rooms. The hotel shuttle is not as efficient as expected, the can do better.
I got an upgrade to the business class rooms and the view was much better.
Great job to the team.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large especially the business class rooms
